Latina pop sensation PAULINA RUBIO is in trouble with a major marketing company after executives claim she blew a deal with car giants MERCEDES BENZ by not showing up for a performance.
Bosses at major marketing company PACIFIC COMMUNICATIONS claim the DON'T SAY GOODBYE singer stood them up at the last minute, and cost them over $1 million (GBP625,000) by not attending an automobile show.
Rubio had agreed to perform at the launch party for Mercedes' new C-class sports car, and Pacific promoters had actually built a stage to her specifications, and filled a dressing room with her rider requests.
But, according to a new lawsuit, Rubio began to "hustle the plaintiffs in a low-class, back alley manner," calling for more money and additional friends flown to the event.
Pacific's attorney JERRY FOX says, "My client agreed to all her demands and then at the eleventh hour she cancelled.
"Her no show was the height of unprofessionalism and our client lost well over $1 million."
