Ross' Drink-Driving Plea Bargain
Soul star DIANA ROSS has reportedly accepted a plea bargain in her drink-driving case, and will not even have to attend next month's (FEB04) court hearing.
The BABY LOVE singer was arrested on 30 December 2002 by Tuscon, Arizona police, and failed a breath test - which Ross' legal team failed to rule inadmissible last month (DEC03).
However, according to reports, the 59-year-old has now agreed to plead guilty to charges "telephonically" in her 9 February (04) hearing, and is therefore likely to face at least a day in jail.
A Tuscon defence lawyer says, "It's unlikely that she's going to do less than a day in jail."
