US TV newsman CHARLIE ROSE will return to his famous desk tonight (12JUN06) after suffering heart problems in March (06). The night time talk show host, who fronts his own daily PBS show, fell ill during a trip to Syria and was forced to pull out of fronting the programme. He underwent surgery in Paris, France to repair a heart valve and has been recovering at his home in New York for the past month.
