MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ - RODRIGUEZ + WATROS VOTED OFF THE ISLAND

Troubled actresses CYNTHIA WATROS and MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ's LOST characters are to be killed off after being charged with drunk driving on Hawaii, where the hit TV drama is filmed. Rodriguez, who started serving a five-day jail term yesterday (26APR05), and Watros were both arrested separately on 1 December (05) as they left a set party. Both were arrested on DUI charges. Watros, 37, pleaded no contest to her charges in January (06), while defiant Rodriguez fought her arrest before pleading guilty in court earlier this week (beg24APR05) and opted to serve time rather than community service. And now the pair's characters ANA LUCIA (Rodriguez) and LIBBY (Watros) are to be written out of the series as part of an upcoming double-death episode. A set insider says, "The funeral scenes have already been shot and their tombstones are now part of the island set."
