ROCKY - ROCKY VI 'ALREADY WRITTEN'

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

ROCKY hero SYLVESTER STALLONE has hinted a sixth installment of the popular boxing movie series is in the pipeline - and he's already finished the script.

The muscled man achieved fame in 1976 with the first Rocky production, which he wrote as well as starred in, and has since enjoyed success with four sequels - as well as a wealth of other movie hits.

Sylvester, 57, explains, "It took me a while to realise that Rocky wasn't just a performance. It had great meaning, the character became indelible.

"I don't want to sound pretentious, but I did once rebel against the Rocky idea. Now I know it's normal to want to run the full spectrum, the rainbow of all your colours. Rocky is a philosophy, so let's make the sixth one, which I've already written."

He continues, "Rocky still needs to be in the game, like my hero, GEORGE FOREMAN, who went from real-life villain to fabled hero in only 50 years or so. He'll be in the next Rocky movie.

"I call this script PUNCHER'S CHANCE, because it's what every fighter has. A fighter may lose his abilities, but even old fighters retain their punch. And if they use it right, they can get lucky. Foreman, you know, is going to fight again professionally. And look at a great athletes like LANCE ARMSTRONG. These guys just keep moving forward."
