CHRIS ROCK - ROCK A SOFT ROMANTIC AT HEART

CHRIS ROCK is nothing like the tough-talking comedian he appears to be onstage - he is a soft romantic, according to his wife MALAAK COMPTON-ROCK.

The 36-year-old beauty was recently thrilled when Rock, 40, arrived at their New Jersey home and whisked her off to Massachusetts for a romantic getaway.

She says, "Chris came home from LA and he said, 'We're leaving in three days for Martha's Vineyard. The kids will be taken care of, your mother's coming in.'

"That's the kind of thing that keeps the marriage alive! Most people see my husband on stage, and they see the comedy - but they don't know where it came from."
