British TV presenter ANNE ROBINSON has been ordered to apologise for suggesting a nursing home manager stole from the elderly, during her British quiz THE WEAKEST LINK.

Robinson, dubbed the Queen Of Mean, asked contestant HEATHER PRIMETT if she regularly took pensions, money and jewellery from people she cares for at Erith Care Homes in Kent, Britain.

And the NATIONAL CARE HOMES ASSOCIATION is so enraged by the acid-tongued star's comments, they have demanded that both Robinson and the programme's BBC bosses make a public apology.

Chief executive SHEILA SCOTT said, "We are absolutely furious. It is total, utter ignorance on Ms Robinson's part."
