ROBBIE WILLIAMS - ROBBIE'S PAL BEESLEY DATES HIS EX-LOVER

Pop hunk ROBBIE WILLIAMS has given best pal actor MAX BEESLEY his blessing to date old flame TANIA STRECKER.

Robbie and model Tania dated for four months in 1999 but ended their tryst after constant rows. She subsequently went on to enjoy a fling with film director GUY RITCHIE, who is now married to MADONNA.

GLITTER star Max met Tania at Robbie's record-breaking Knebworth, England, gigs last weekend (1-3AUG03). The actor, who dated former SPICE GIRL MEL B for two years, was playing drums in the ANGELS singer's backing band.

After the performance, Tania and Max took a room together at the same hotel as Robbie, and the singing hunk was overheard praising his pal's choice in woman.

A hotel spy reports, "Robbie and Max were laughing and joking. At one point, Robbie patted Max on the back and said, 'Good on you, mate.'"
