MATCHBOX TWENTY frontman ROB THOMAS has been inundated with offers to change his career direction and become a movie actor.

Film producers in Hollywood are scrambling for the opportunity to utilise the rocker's allure on the big screen - but Thomas is so far reluctant to take up the offer.

He says, 'I feel like I have one job, and the little time I have off, I can't imagine giving myself another job. But, then, if I'd been given a script for FIGHT CLUB, I'd have said, 'Oh man! I have to do it.'"
