GUY RITCHIE - RITCHIE TO DITCH ACTION FOR ANIMATION

British director GUY RITCHIE is so inspired by last year's (04) animated movie THE INCREDIBLES, he plans to ditch his trademark gangster films in favour of making more child-friendly movies.

Richie, who has a son, five-year-old ROCCO, with his superstar wife MADONNA, is desperate to appeal to a younger audience after years of directing bullet-riddled blockbusters.

He says, "I want to make a children's animated film because I loved The Incredibles so much.

"I fancy making something for the whole family to go and see."
