NICOLE RICHIE - RICHIE TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM THIS YEAR

NICOLE RICHIE is promising that her long-awaited debut album will finally hit shelves before the end of the year (05).

The 24-year-old beauty, daughter of soul veteran LIONEL RICHIE, has had fans waiting in anticipation since announcing plans to unveil her musical talents, and now she insists her project will arrive within the next few months, according to MTV.

She says, "I've just been trying to put my whole heart in it because I have so many projects, so it's taking a little longer than I expected.

"It's like a mixture of rock and soul, a little bit of dance also. I play piano, violin and cello, so I'm gonna be playing (those instruments) on my album as well."
