Hellraiser KEITH RICHARDS has ended his chances of receiving a knighthood like bandmate SIR MICK JAGGER, after declaring he "could kill" British royal PRINCE PHILIP.

The ROLLING STONES guitarist was unimpressed when frontman Jagger was knighted in December 2003, saying at the time, "I told Mick it's a paltry honour ... It's not what the Stones is about, is it?"

Nearly two years later, Richards is adamant he doesn't want a knighthood, declaring the honour "b**locks".

Richards says, "Ah, the QUEEN (ELIZABETH II). I like her. God bless her. The old man (Prince Philip), I could kill!

"But no, f**k off. They didn't offer it to me because they knew I'd turn it down. It's b**locks. You have to kneel and I'm not going to kneel for anyone.

"Anyway the Queen didn't do Mick, Charlie (PRINCE CHARLES) did.

"Mick came to me and said, 'TONY BLAIR (Prime Minister) insists I accept this.' And I said, 'Well, you can always turn it down.' You know, Mick wanted one, so he got one. They're not going to f**k with me. They're not my sort."
