CHRISTINA RICCI - RICCI SHOCKED BY UNDERWEAR SHOOT

Actress CHRISTINA RICCI only realised how sexy her photoshoot with a British magazine would be, when she noticed they had only given her underwear to put on.

The MONSTER star, 24, was taken aback when she turned up at the ARENA cover shoot and was presented with "all this underwear".

Ricci says, "I didn't realise how sexy Arena was, until I showed up to the photo shoot and saw all this underwear.

"RANKIN (the photographer) kept commenting during the shoot that I was dressed in these very sexual clothes, but my attitude was quieter, not exactly 'come hither'.

"I told Rankin, I'm not a come-hither kind of girl."

While sexy photo shoots may initially shock Ricci, the star is happy to be photographed and enjoys experimenting with her image.

She explains, "I'm more comfortable with my body than I've ever been.

"I'm not one of those actresses who have to maintain perfect beauty all the time and maintain their image.

"I'm pretty much the opposite of the characters I play. I'm a little prudish.

"I don't own anything that's particularly sexy-looking.

"But for whatever reason, something about me will always come off as sexual."
