DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - RETREAT FOR THE HOUSEWIVES

The stars of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES are being offered a cast retreat before filming starts on the new season of the hit show - so they can get to know each other all over again.

Series creator MARC CHERRY hopes the get-away will help bring the five stars of the show back together as friends after a summer (05) spent promoting the show separately around the globe.

Cherry also hopes his Palm Springs, California retreat will be particularly good for stars EVA LONGORIA and NICOLETTE SHERIDAN after they were snubbed at the recent Emmy Awards nomination ceremony.
