RENEE ZELLWEGER - RENEE'S TEARS AT "LONELY" LIFE

Gorgeous film star RENEE ZELLWEGER is so upset at not being able to find a man, she broke down in tears at a dinner party in front of stunned guests.

The CHICAGO stunner tearfully told the assembled at the LA get-together she was "desperate for love."

An onlooker tells British tabloid THE SUN, "It was like a scene out of BRIDGET JONES."

Single Renee, 34, reportedly sobbed, "I'm so lonely, I don't date. I feel like I'm going to grow old alone."

But help was at hand from a fellow diner - resurrected screen star DEMI MOORE.

Demi - ex-wife of Hollywood actor BRUCE WILLIS - comforted the emotional actress, saying, "Don't worry, it will be alright."

She also pledged to take DOWN WITH LOVE star Renee out on the town to find that special someone.

Among Renee's famous ex-boyfriends are SOLARIS star GEORGE CLOONEY and BRUCE ALMIGHTY comic actor JIM CARREY.
