Movie actor KEANU REEVES likes to distance himself from the celebrity trappings of Hollywood, but admits being famous does have its advantages.
The reclusive MATRIX star was recently given free ice-cream - simply because the vendor loved his 1986 film RIVER'S EDGE.
Keanu, 39, says, "I remember one time I was going to the cinema, I went in to an ice-cream store with a friend of mine, it was a hot summer day.
"The guy gave us our ice-cream, I went to pay, and he said, 'No man.' And I was like, 'What?' And he was like, 'River's Edge.' And I was like, 'Woah yeah, River's Edge, thanks man.'"
