Movie star VANESSA REDGRAVE is calling on a favour from her former son-in-law, theatre producer ROBERT FOX, in a bid to land a part in DAVID HARE's play THE BREATH OF LIFE when it opens on Broadway, New York next year (06).

The British actress wants to play the role DAME JUDI DENCH made her own on the London stage after the JAMES BOND star turned down the chance to reprise the part in New York.
