RAPPER COOL C DEATH WARRANT SIGNED

Former THE HILLTOP HUSTLERS rapper CHRISTOPHER 'COOL C' RONEY will face death by lethal injection this year (06), after his execution warrant was signed yesterday (11JAN06).

Roney, 36, was found guilty in October 1996 of the first-degree murder of a Philadelphia police officer during a failed bank heist.

While his accomplice and rap sidekick WARREN 'STEADY B' McGLONE was sentenced to life imprisonment, Roney received a death sentence for pulling the trigger.

The GLAMOROUS LIFE hitmaker is currently behind bars at Pennsylvania's State Correctional Institution at Greene.

Yesterday (11JAN06) Pennsylvania Governor ED RENDELL agreed that Roney's execution will go ahead on 9 March (06), reports Allhiphop.com.
