A former rap video star who exposed the seedy details of her celebrity lovers' lives in an explosive book is now planning to become the black JACKIE COLLINS.

Sexy KARRINE STEFFANS stunned the rap world with her tell-all 2005 bestseller CONFESSIONS OF A VIDEO VIXEN and now she's planning to reveal more about hip-hop's top names - but this time, she won't be naming names.

Steffans, who claims to have bedded USHER and JA RULE in her book, says, "I'm working on a new book called OF ILL REPUTE - it's more Hollywood, more Jackie Collins-like.

"There are people I left out of the first book because I couldn't name all the names, for legal reasons. So in the novel, I can explore the stories I left out in a fictionalised way."

Meanwhile, movie-maker JOHN SINGLETON has given Steffans a new year boost - he's considering turning Confessions of A Video Vixen into a film.
