Country singer BONNIE RAITT is wondering how to take her political campaigning forward after being left disillusioned by US President GEORGE W BUSH's re-election in November (04).

The YOU GOT IT singer, who participated in the VOTE FOR CHANGE tour encouraging the electorate to vote, was shocked to learn it was the baby boomer generation who failed to elect Democrat candidate JOHN KERRY leader.

Raitt, 55, says, "We need to figure out how to proceed. I just don't have the stomach to talk about politics right not.

"We had the great Vote For Change tour. Now we have to regroup. I don't know what the strategy should be."
