Stunning Bollywood star AISHWARYA RAI admits Hollywood bosses will face a tough time persuading her to get raunchy in a movie - because sexy scenes are forbidden in Indian cinema.

The BRIDE AND PREJUDICE beauty has already captured the interests of major US movie-makers and is excited about pursuing blockbuster productions, even though she accepts onscreen acts as timid as a kiss could provoke outrage in her native India.

But Rai is hopeful she'll be able to collaborate with directors and scriptwriters in creating suitable alternatives to potentially raunchy - and offensive - scenes.

In an interview on CBS show 60 MINUTES, Rai says, "We'll cross the bridge when we reach it. We'll work on the story, work on the scene. I'll work on the part and - and let's see.

"In our society, you don't really see people around the street corner kissing or being extremely or overtly physically demonstrative."
