Crusading RADIOHEAD rocker THOM YORKE was speechless when he spotted one of US President GEORGE W BUSH's daughters at his New York City gig on Thursday (15JUN06) - as the band are famed for their hatred of the American leader. The singer, who dedicated the title of the group's last album HAIL TO THE THIEF to Bush, first noticed the first daughter - he doesn't know if it was JENNA or BARBARA - when he saw a fracas in the audience as fans were pushed out of the way by burly bodyguards. And far from being honoured by his VIP admirer, Yorke admits he is glad he didn't discover her presence until she left. He writes on his website, "We did wonder what the shuffling, manhandling, fighting was in the distance of the audience. "Turns out it was her six bodyguards clearing the way for the daughter's exit. And some pour soul objected at being manhandled by the secret service. I think I would have to. "In fact, if I had known all this my objections would have been more forthright and extensive. Which is perhaps why our lot chose not to tell me who was in the building before we went on. Probably a good idea."
