RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE is concerned fans will be disappointed if they know what his band really talk about in private - because they don't say anything at all.

The THERE THERE vocalist admits the group do not need to speak in words because they all know each other so well they have a silent understanding.

Yorke explains, "People in bands don't have the kind of conversations people might think they have. The best things about being in a band are the things that are unsaid.

"You click in the studio or wherever and that's enough to make you feel close to each other. There are no long nights of bonding where you tell each other your innermost fears."
