HARRY POTTER - RADCLIFFE PINES FOR DAY-LEWIS

HARRY POTTER star DANIEL RADCLIFFE desperately wants DANIEL DAY-LEWIS to take a part in a future film in the blockbusting series.

Radcliffe, 15, regularly hears unfounded on-set rumours that British actors including ROWAN ATKINSON and HUGH GRANT are to join the franchise, but it's the OSCAR-winning Day-Lewis he really wants to work with.

Radcliffe says, "There are a lot of rumours all the time. Like they said Rowan Atkinson for VOLDEMORT and Hugh Grant's been linked to PROFESSOR LOCKHART. I think they kind of make it up as they go along.

"One person I'd love to work with very badly is Daniel Day-Lewis, but it doesn't look like that'll ever happen now. Hasn't he sworn off films."
