HARRY POTTER - RADCLIFFE IS BRITAIN'S WEALTHIEST TEENAGER

HARRY POTTER star DANIEL RADCLIFFE has been calculated Britain's richest teenager.

Radcliffe, who shot to stardom at the age of 11 after starring in JK ROWLING's first magical wizard movie HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, is now 16 and richer than fellow teenagers CHARLOTTE CHURCH and JOSS STONE.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE director MIKE NEWELL is relieved Radcliffe and co-stars RUPERT GRINT and EMMA WATSON have not been carried away by their wealth.

He says, "They all know exactly what they're worth but they have not become impossible.

"My worst fear is that they would have realised that they are absolutely the stars."

Radcliffe has just signed a $14.4 million (GBP8 million) deal to make the fifth movie in the Harry Potter series - THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX.
