Model RACHEL HUNTER has posed topless for PLAYBOY magazine, after being offered a staggering $1.8 million (GBP1 million) to strip.

Men's magazine bosses have pursued rocker ROD STEWART's New Zealand-born ex-wife since she was 17.

She initially refused because she was too young and then again because Stewart didn't want her to strip. But, after shedding six and a half kilograms (one stone) through an intensive work-out regime, the 35-year-old feels ready to bare all - and boost her bank balance at the same time.

According to sources, the snaps were taken at a top secret, exotic location earlier this week - and will appear in PLAYBOY's music edition later this year (04).

A friend reveals, "She will be going topless but refuses to be completely nude.

"The pictures will be as tasteful as possible. She's really comfortable showing her body."
