QUEEN stars BRIAN MAY and ROGER TAYLOR have generously pledged to donate profits from the 1,000th performance of their hit London musical to UNICEF's tsunami disaster fund.
WE WILL ROCK YOU - the West End show based around Queen's famous songs - will feature a special one-off appearance by its co-creators May and Taylor, who have altered their original celebratory plans to benefit the victims of the 26 December (04) tragedy in Asia.
The rockers' charity effort follows in the example of many stage productions across the world eager to help survivors of the killer tidal wave combat the risk of disease, starvation and homelessness.
The event, entitled WE WILL ROCK YOU: A BENEFIT FOR THE UNICEF TSUNAMI APPEAL, takes place on 12 January (05).
