A TRIBE CALLED QUEST rapper Q-TIP will lead a drive to stress the importance of voting later today (23FEB04).

The VIVRANT THING rapper, real name JONATHAN DAVIS, will be joined by a host of politicians at the event on the campus of PRAIRIE VIEW A+M UNIVERSITY in Texas.

More than 500 students are expected to join them to discuss the importance of student civic participation and the challenges facing minority student voting.
