US girl group PUSSYCAT DOLLS top the UK singles chart for the second week in a row with STICKWITU.

MADONNA climbs one place to number two after her comeback song HUNG UP was knocked off the top spot last week (04DEC05).

Teen singers SUGABABES make a new entry at number three with UGLY while Irish boyband WESTLIFE's YOU RAISE ME UP holds onto fourth spot.

American rockers THE STROKES crash in at number five with JUICEBOX - their first release in two years.

Rapper EMINEM holds onto number one on the UK album chart with his greatest hits collection CURTAIN CALL - THE HITS, and ROBBIE WILLIAMS' INTENSIVE CARE is also a non-mover at number two.

Boybands TAKE THAT and WESTLIFE chart at numbers three and four respectively with their LPs FACE TO FACE and NEVER FORGET - THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION.

MADONNA's CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR rounds off the top five, and the highest entry goes to British girl band GIRLS ALOUD whose album CHEMISTRY just missed out on the top 10 by charting at number 11.
