Veteran punks including MARKY RAMONE and THE MISFITS stars JERRY ONLY and JOHN CAFIERO have joined forces to form a new supergroup called OSAKA POPSTAR. The band, which also features BLACK FLAG rocker DEZ CADENA and THE VOIDOIDS' IVAN JULIAN, will release their debut album in late May (06). Cult star DANIEL JOHNSTON wrote the forthcoming single WICKED WORLD and sings on MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW, writes MTV.com.
