JENNIFER ANISTON - PRODUCERS NERVOUS TO APPROACH ANISTON FOR THE BREAK UP

Filmmakers casting JENNIFER ANISTON's upcoming movie THE BREAK UP were afraid to approach the actress about the role, because she was going through her own relationship breakdown with ex-husband BRAD PITT.

Producers were concerned the FRIENDS star would find the prospect of working on a film which focuses on a failed relationship too upsetting in light of her collapsed marriage, which came to an official end on Sunday (02OCT05).

Aniston, 36, says, "They were all nervous to approach me for the role. But I thought, The Break Up, seize the moment! And it's been great, so much fun."
