Freddie Prinze Jr - Prinze Jr Hopes To Quit Acting

Hollywood heart-throb FREDDIE PRINZE JR plans to stop acting eventually - to pursue a writing career.

The SCOOBY-DOO star - married to BUFFY stunner SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR - fears too many emotional roles will send him into therapy.

He says, "I'm going to stop acting in the next few years because it's just too weird.

"You have to constantly be willing to live in a scary, emotional place, which is why actors are in therapy all the time."

In the future, Prinze Jr aims to turn his efforts to writing and has already proved himself to be a budding talent in that field - he's written an episode of the TV series MUTANT X that will air in America this month (APR03).

He adds, "People don't think I can construct a sentence, let alone write a script."
