British boxing star 'PRINCE' NASEEM HAMED has been sentenced to fifteen months in jail for dangerous driving. The 32-year-old former world featherweight champion was also hit with a four-year driving ban after crashing his MCLaren-Mercedes into motorist ANTHONY BURGIN, who was left with fractures to "every major bone in his body", last year (05). The court was told how Hamed, who pleaded guilty to dangerous driving in December (05), crashed his car after trying to impress his passenger, businessman ASIF AYUB. Hamed also hit motorist MICHAEL WOOD, who he was trying to overtake. Wood describes Hamed's actions as "Stupid, suicide, ridiculous". Hamed announced a return to boxing in November (05).
