JENNIFER ANISTON admits made-up press stories about her relationship with hunky husband BRAD PITT take their toll on the lives of her friends and family.

Since marrying in June 2000, the pair have had to contend with constant media attention and fabricated claims about their marriage.

And the FRIENDS actress admits it creates pressure when the press make up silly stories about them.

Weary Jen explains, "You have to have a sense of humour about it and Brad's helped me a lot with that. The only bummer is when relatives call asking, 'Is everything OK?' Sometimes it drives me crazy.

"Sure, we have these knock-down drag-outs once in a while. Show me a couple that doesn't and I don't think they'd last very long. He'll hate me for saying that but when you grow up in a family where people aren't always very kind to each other, you realise how important that is."
