BRAD PITT - PITT: 'ANISTON'S MY FIREPLACE'

Movie hunk BRAD PITT is amused by ongoing reports his marriage to FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON is in trouble following suggestions he's romancing his co-star ANGELINA JOLIE.

Following suggestions the hunky star has taken the romance on his current movie MR + MRS SMITH off the screen, Pitt is keen to stress Aniston is his bedrock in life.

In an upcoming VANITY FAIR magazine exclusive, Pitt reveals, "She brings a lot of people together. Jen's the fireplace; she provides the warmth."

Pitt also claims the two are closer than ever after overcoming a series of difficult professional decisions, which include him baring all in his new film.

He adds, "Jen and I both have an understanding that that's part of the job. One of our strengths has been - something that I value the most - is we have a rule of putting everything on the table, not letting the other one wonder. We've grown really tight because of it."
