BRAD PITT - PITT AND ANISTON GET HOME ADVICE FROM DEVITO

Hollywood hunk BRAD PITT has opted to get advice on his long-running home renovations - from actor DANNY DeVITO.

Pitt and his wife JENNIFER ANISTON have been working on their $14 million (GBP9.3 million) Beverly Hills mansion for the past 20 months. And on 24 April (03), they brought along soon-to-be neighbours DeVito and his wife RHEA PERLMAN to take a look.

DeVito - who fully understands the couple's desire to have everything perfect before they move into the six-bedroom residence - says, "They're my good friends. I did the same thing with my house. It takes a while and can be costly, but you do what you have to do."

A source adds, "Brad was unhappy with the hardwood floors. He didn't like the colour of the wood, so he's having it ripped out and redone. This job could take two months or more to finish. Brad is changing a lot of things to his liking; he decides what stays and goes."

The latest additions reportedly include a stone fireplace in the home movie theatre; an open, oval stone shower; and rare onyx tiles in Aniston's private bathroom - plus a separate shampoo room with a salon-style sink.

The source adds, "This is the home they'll have their kids in. They're planning to settle there."
