BRAD PITT - PITT AND ANISTON DINE TOGETHER

BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON have prompted hopes of a reconciliation, after they were spotted sharing a meal at a Los Angeles restaurant last week (ends28JAN05).

The pair shocked fans, friends and relatives alike, when they announced their decision to go their separate ways at the beginning of the year (07JAN05).

And days after Pitt's grandmother BETTY RUSSELL insisted their split would be temporary, PEOPLE magazine reports the pair met up for dinner at L'Orangerie on 26 January (05).

But pals tell the publication they're not planning to get back together - yet.

A friend says, "Nothing's changed about their separation. They're still close, and they still love each other. They're still going to be seen together."

Another source also shoots down rumours that the marriage crumbled because Pitt was having an affair with ANGELINA JOLIE.

The pal says of Pitt, "He's not the kind of guy who would cheat. He is a very moral guy."
