Rock wild child PINK had a truly troubled past - she used to find herself regularly behind prison bars.

The DON'T LET ME GET ME singer, 24, felt the long arm of the law more than once during her teenage years, and now realises she caused her parents a lot of heartache.

She says, "I got caught shoplifting in a mall in Philadelphia once, and was sent to jail for a couple of hours, which was totally my fault.

"Apart from that, I just got arrested for dumb stuff. I once kicked the back of the school bus - because the driver made a racist comment to one of my friends - and I got arrested again for disorderly conduct.

"Also, there was nowhere to go after school, so we would stand around in the street - and get arrested for loitering.

"Once I organised a mass walkout in school and everyone went and stood across the street - and we all got arrested! After that we took the police to court and won."
