ENRIQUE IGLESIAS - PHOTOGRAPHER SUES IGLESIAS OVER 'ALTERCATION'

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS is being sued by a photographer who alleges he and his pregnant wife were struck by the Latin singer's bodyguards during a skirmish in August 2002. ANGEL MORA filed an assault, battery and malicious prosecution lawsuit last Friday (31MAR06) claiming the HERO singer took exception when he and his wife started taking pictures of Iglesias and his girlfriend ANNA KOURNIKOVA at a restaurant in Miami, Florida. Mora alleges Iglesias ordered his two minders to grab their cameras. He alleges they then hit both him and his pregnant spouse, who gave birth four days later. Mora also accuses Iglesias and his bodyguards of lying to police in order to get him and his wife arrested, writes MTV.com. Criminal charges against the couple were later dropped. The photographer is seeking damages to cover his legal fees, bond and lost earnings.
