WALK THE LINE star JOAQUIN PHOENIX is set to add pop video director to his resume after making his debut overseeing British group PEOPLE IN PLANES' new promo.

Phoenix, who is a big fan of the group, jumped at the chance to direct the video for IF YOU TALK TOO MUCH (MY HEAD WILL EXPLODE).

The track comes from the band's debut album AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, which is released in March (06).
