PERRY STILL NEEDS HIS FRIENDS

Former FRIENDS star MATTHEW PERRY still relies on the support of the hit TV series' cast.

Perry recently directed an episode of TV hospital comedy SCRUBS and became so stressed, he phoned his former co-star MATT LeBLANC for encouragement and advice.

LeBlanc says, "He called me saying, 'I've never worked so hard in my life.

"I think his confidence was a little rattled so I said, 'Take it one step at a time and be confident.'

"I think he needed a little pep talk from his old roommate!"
