Actor MATTHEW PERRY has two new FRIENDS, after reportedly signing up to help Irish movie star JONATHAN RHYS-MEYERS and JOAQUIN PHOENIX recover from rehab stays.
American tabloid NATIONAL ENQUIRER claims ALEXANDER star Rhys-Meyers recently joined Phoenix at celebrity rehab facility Promises in Malibu, California, and former alum Perry has stepped up to help them overcome their alcohol problems.
According to insiders, Perry, who has struggled with a drug addiction, has agreed to become the two younger actors' 'sober driver' as they navigate the real world without returning to their boozy former ways.
A source tells the Enquirer, "Matt's been around the block and he knows how tough it is to stay sober.
"But he's older now and he's happy to devote his time to helping younger stars deal with their chemical problems."
