MATTHEW PERRY - PERRY GETS POKER FACED AGAIN

MATTHEW PERRY is having another crack at mastering poker on TV after signing up for another season of CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN.

The former FRIENDS star was knocked out in the first round in the show's first season earlier this year (04), but he's more confident this time around.

The actor filmed the first round behind closed doors at the PALMS casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the weekend (21-22AUG04) with MACAULAY CULKIN, MICHAEL VARTAN and comedienne SARAH SILVERMAN.

The results of the card table showdown won't be known until the programme airs on television later this year (04).
