GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW'S SCOOTER THRILL

GWYNETH PALTROW has found the perfect way to avoid the paparazzi when she's living in London - she rides about the streets on a scooter.

The actress' helmet allows her to "scoot" around her adopted city, where she lives with her COLDPLAY frontman boyfriend CHRIS MARTIN, without being noticed - and she's discovered it's a great way to get about.

She says, "The traffic there goes slower and I feel safer. It's not like it's this high-powered motorcycle. It's basically like a hairdryer with wheels.

"I can get on and scoot around and nobody knows who I am. It's good."

Paltrow admits she's a much better motorist in London, where people are much more polite than drivers in her native New York.

She adds, "I'm a very timid driver on my scooter. I go very slowly. It's much different to how I drive in my car in New York. I'm kind of a maniac. It's the one place I kind of get my aggression out. It's very cathartic."
