GWYNETH PALTROW thought she'd never meet the right man because her parents's strong marriage left her with "very high standards".

The OSCAR-winning beauty knew exactly what she expected from a relationship based on her late father BRUCE PALTROW's loving relationship with her mother BLYTHE DANNER.

Paltrow, 32, enjoyed romances with BRAD PITT, BEN AFFLECK and LUKE WILSON before marrying COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN last year (03).

She explains, "I had a very happy childhood. I was lucky enough to have two parents who were very much in love and who had tremendous intellect, integrity and humour.

"On the other hand, it did make it difficult for a while to find the right person for a relationship, because I have very high standards."
