GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW PREPARES FOR BIRTH OF SECOND CHILD

GWYNETH PALTROW has preparations well underway for the arrival of baby number two - including a birthing pool at each of her homes in New York and London.

The wife of COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN had her first child APPLE in May 2004, and feels confident enough to take control of her pregnancy and the upcoming birth, expected in May (06).

A source says, "It's something Gwyneth really wanted to do for her first birth but she didn't feel confident enough.

"This time she's more than ready for an underwater birth - she's done loads of research. It will be very special and spiritual."

Paltrow has also enlisted the help of yoga supremo LEELA MILLER, who has taught her how to overcome morning sickness by sitting cross-legged and concentrating on calming her body.

Miller says, "It's simple but effective."
