The SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE beauty, who lives with her rock star husband CHRIS MARTIN and daughter APPLE, often socialises with fashion designer STELLA McCARTNEY and admires MADONNA's work ethics, both of whom she hails as great pals.

She says, "They are great girls. Stella is amazing - so funny and edgy. And the kind of girl who sends you a text on the anniversary of your dad's death.

"I love Madonna too. She works so hard though, so we don't see much of each other.

"She's really driven - she was actually doing Pilates with broken bones."
