GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW LEARNS TO COOK

Movie star GWYNETH PALTROW has turned herself into a Hollywood housewife, to keep rocker lover CHRIS MARTIN happy.

The pair, who began dating after meeting backstage at one of Chris's band COLDPLAY's London gigs last year (02), are currently staying in New York while the SCIENTIST hitmakers tour North America.

But Martin's prolonged stay in the States has given him cravings for British food - so 30-year-old Paltrow has signed up for cooking classes in the Big Apple, so she can make him his favourite meals.

A friend of the crooner tells British tabloid the DAILY STAR, "American food is a bit too rich for Chris. He's a very plain eater."

And Paltrow, who pals says is determined to "put everything" into her relationship with 26-year-old Chris, is more than happy to oblige.

A friend tells the Star, "Gwynnie hopes to impress Chris with her cooking skills. She sympathises with his plight but she had to confess - she can't boil an egg."
