GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW FUMING WITH MARTIN'S LONG HOURS

Hollywood star GWYNETH PALTROW has been left holding the baby as her rocker husband CHRIS MARTIN spends hours in the studio working on the new COLDPLAY album.

The couple welcomed their daughter APPLE into the world in May (04), and after five months off from the band to enjoy fatherhood, Martin has returned to make more music.

According to friends of the singer, Martin has been returning to their north London home only to sleep after putting in 18-hour days creating the YELLOW hitmakers' third album.

A pal explains, "Chris is completely driven over the new album, like you just wouldn't believe. He goes into the studio early each day and doesn't leave until late at night.

"His bandmates are managing a normal working day, but Chris is obsessed and has got into bother with Gwyneth.

"He is getting very stressed and Gwyneth was worried that he was at risk of burning out. She told him he should slow down a bit."
