GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW EMBARRASSED BY AFFLECK JIBE

GWYNETH PALTROW was left red-faced by an American TV interview when she was reminded of an unkind comment she once made about ex-love BEN AFFLECK.

The actress was candidly telling broadcaster DIANE SAWYER about her time with Affleck when the newswoman showed her footage of an old interview they did together.

Years ago, Gwyneth had joked about her then-boyfriend's perfect woman, stating, "Any sort of stripper at SCORES, anyone that serves cold beer in a bikini or wet T-shirt."

Upon seeing the clip a horrified Paltrow giggled, before adding, "Why do I drink before these interviews?"

Sawyer then quizzed the actress about her current romance with British rocker CHRIS MARTIN, but she held back, saying only, "I don't want to talk about it."

The actress did admit she loves the song YOUR TOUGHEST HOUR, which the COLDPLAY star wrote for her. It feature the lyrics, "If you're going to break down, you can break on me."

She said, "It's a great song. I love those lyrics."
